Holy crap, here's something that hasn't happened in months--Wanda's door is ajar and there is indeed some Dead Can Dance trickling out at a soft volume (since she knows some of her neighbors are probably Death Tolling). A handmade sign saying The Witch Is In hangs on the doorknob. When someone walks past the door a large ball of black fur pokes his nose out and wags, but the dog's well trained enough not to leave.

Hey there. [He knows, of course, that the dog can't answer but there's still an unguarded kind of cheerfulness in the hunter's voice when he greets it anyway. Then he notices the sign, and the grin starts to fade some. Maybe he should go.

It's the noise from the dog that gets him to open his eyes again, and he eyes it with distaste for a moment before lifting his hand to knock on her door.]

[Fozzie whines, but she has trained with him every day of his existence on the Barge and he finally walks back to the enormous dog crate in one corner of the room, climbs in, and settles down on his pad.]

Thank you. It also helps that she's already doing all the things that I kind of wanted to. No superpowers. She just does it. We're in the same field and I think I could learn things from her.
