[Wanda stands out behind the greenhouses, in front of a makeshift altar she has built of snow. She has a fistful of candle stubs--basically all she could dig out of her drawers--and is staring into the flame of one of them as it flickers atop the snowpile. Her face is a cold mask above the upturned collar of her deep red coat, and her eyes are hard. She focuses on the candleflame, but a portion of her senses is always busy checking around her to make sure she isn't slipped up on.]

[The meditation goes on for a long time without her moving. When the time comes, she lights a free stub from the last flickers of its predecessor and sticks it into the snow. Then she lights one of the scrounged cigarette butts from her pocket and takes a puff.]

[Rorschach doesn't make any attempt to cover his approach, only stalks through the snow, hands shoved in his pockets and shabby coat pulled tight around him; too few layers than the weather really warrants, but he continues on without complaint. It's not the first time, and it won't be the last, he's not bothered by a little discomfort.

He stops a few feet away and clears his throat, just to make it crystal clear there's someone else around, then flicks his gaze over the scene impassively.]
